Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using NotebookLM Hub (“the Extension”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

NotebookLM Hub is a Chrome browser extension that enhances your experience with Google NotebookLM by providing source import, annotation, organization, and cross-platform sync features. The Extension operates as a client-side tool within your browser.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

  • Use the Extension in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the Extension beyond what is permitted by applicable open-source licenses.
  • Not use the Extension to violate Google's Terms of Service for NotebookLM.
  • Not use the Extension for any automated scraping or data harvesting purposes.

4. Google Account

The Extension requires an active Google account with access to NotebookLM. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. We are not affiliated with Google and do not have access to your Google account credentials.

5. Free Tier and Limitations

The Extension currently offers a free tier with a limit of 10 imports per day. We reserve the right to modify these limits, introduce paid plans, or change features at any time with reasonable notice.

6. Intellectual Property

The Extension and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the NotebookLM Hub team and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The Extension's source code is available under its published open-source license.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all systems or future versions of Chrome or NotebookLM.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NotebookLM Hub and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits arising from your use of the Extension.

9. Third-Party Services

The Extension integrates with third-party services including Google NotebookLM, Obsidian, and Notion. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it from Chrome. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Extension for violations of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
